October General Meeting

On October 22, the Vancouver District Students' Council had their first general meeting. During the meeting, we were pleasantly visited by our Superintendent, Suzanne Hoffman, who came in and led a Success Workshop. The council was split into five groups where they discussed amongst each other, what student success meant to them through four categories: Hope, What Breaks your heart, Defining Success, and Is Success the right term? Within each of these categories the students began brainstorming ideas, and gained insight with how others define success. The council members also established a better understanding on how to better strive towards their goals. The Vancouver District Students' Council is extremely thankful for Suzanne Hoffman for coming in and sharing such a memorable experience with us.
